CCSID recently began a membership drive in an effort to engage downtown employers in the work of the SID and to connect with employees. The effort will open the lines of communication, allowing us to stay informed about issues that are important to downtown workers. Individuals and companies may join Capital Crossroads SID, and the membership fees help the SID execute a variety of activities including retail developments, public art, entertainment, improvement to public transit, and improved cleanliness in the downtown area. Please click here to learn more about this important effort.
Capital Crossroads has reached out to commercial tenants, asking for their thoughts about the downtown work environment and area amenities. These meetings have revealed some surprises and confirmed some prior assumptions.
The SID will compile notes form these meeting and develop work plans in response to the comments. The response will include involving employers in policy discussions, giving safety presentations to employees, and consulting with businesses about the use of SID resources.
Capital Crossroads SID welcomes the following members in the initial weeks of its campaign:
Bailey Cavalieri
John Gerlach & Company
Kegler Brown
Plante Moran
Reminger Attorneys at Law
Taft Stettinus & Holister
Schneider Downs
Squire Sanders & Dempsey
