Capital Crossroads SID Seeks Service Input

Clean Team AmbassadorIn September and early October, Capital Crossroads SID is seeking your thoughts regarding reauthorization of the special improvement district. Should it continue to operate after 2016? If so, what services should it provide? This input is a vital part of the reauthorization process, which is described in detail below. To schedule a meeting with SID staff, please contact Tina Smith at 614.645.5005 or send your thoughts via email to her at tmsmith@sidservices.com.

This year, property owners in Capital Crossroads SID must go through a petition drive to renew the SID for another five years, if they so choose. Property owners determine the service plan (services, projects and programs) and corresponding assessment rate. This plan for services will be drafted and approved by the SID board either October 7 or November 4. It will then be circulated to property owners for their signatures in November, December and early January. If owners representing more than 60 percent of property within the boundary sign the petition, all private property will be assessed under the plan beginning in 2017. If you have not yet done so, please share your thoughts with SID staff.
