Capital Crossroads and Discovery SIDs each produce an annual report outlining their programs and services. Each SID marked big anniversaries last year: 15 years for Capital Crossroads and 10 years for Discovery.

The core of Capital Crossroads services remain the same, focusing on safety, environmental maintenance, marketing and landscaping. Each year, Capital Crossroads recognizes community members who make a significant difference in Downtown. The 2016 winners included the Scioto Greenways Project (Columbus Downtown Development Corporation); the Julian (CASTO) and 250 High (Kaufman); community activist Jess Matthews, and the Columbus Division of  Police representatives Officer Scott Peck, (16^th Precinct Liaison), Sergeant Kevin Corcoran (16^th Precinct), Officer Larry Nelson (Columbus Police Training Academy), Commander Robert Meader, (Columbus Police Training Academy) and Commander Robert Strausbaugh (Zone 5).

The Discovery District’s emphasis remains focused on safety, homeless outreach services and promoting the district. Each year, Discovery SID also recognizes community members who make a significant difference. The 2016 winners include the Garbo and Gilbert mural restoration (Kramer Engineers); the Columbus Metropolitan Library for its Main Library renovation; former Columbus State Community College Vice President Terri Gehr, and the Columbus Division of Police representatives Officer Scott Peck, (16^th Precinct Liaison), Sergeant Kevin Corcoran (16^th Precinct), Officer Larry Nelson (Columbus Police Training Academy), Commander Robert Meader, (Columbus Police Training Academy) and Commander Robert Strausbaugh (Zone 5).
