Investing in the SID Mission

Telhio Credit Union has been located in downtown Columbus for since 1935. The credit union has witnessed the highs and lows of downtown’s evolution.

Karen Daniels, chief retail officer for Telhio Credit Union, said it was a no-brainer when Capital Crossroads Executive Director Cleve Ricksecker asked their organization to provide additional financial support by becoming a business member.

“We believe it’s important to support initiatives that have a direct impact on enhancing our local community,” Daniels said. “The work of the Capital Crossroads ambassadors has been transformational for downtown Columbus over the last 20 years.”

Thirty-six business members currently support the safety, cleaning and homeless outreach services provided by Capital Crossroads.  Capital Crossroads recognizes business members on DowntownServices.org and holds special members-only events periodically.

“Business membership gives organizations the opportunity to publicly support the good work that Capital Crossroads does every day, and to ensure that Downtown continues to develop as a vibrant community,” said Michelle Chippas, director of engagement and communication for Capital Crossroads SID.
