It’s about to get easier to park downtown. Smart Columbus, an initiative led by the City of Columbus and the Columbus Partnership and funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation Smart City Challenge grant, has launched the new ParkColumbus App, with the goal of making it simpler to find and pay for parking.

What is ParkColumbus? It’s a one-stop-shop for all things parking in Downtown Columbus and the Short North Arts District. Drivers need only download the app, available in both the Apple Store and Google Play, to be able to view, reserve and pay for parking spaces in participating garages and surface lots. For those looking for on-street parking, the app also uses predictive analytic technology to let drivers find an area with more available spots.
