Summer Movies Return to the Discovery District

Grab your chairs and blankets and get ready to head over to the Columbus Museum of Arts' outdoor sculpture garden to enjoy a great line up of family-friendly movies.

The Discovery District Civic Association announced its line-up for this year’s outdoor movie series this summer. “The Incredibles,” kicks off the series on Friday, June 17th,  followed by “The Karate Kid,” on Friday, July 15th, and “Black Panther,” on Friday, August 5th.

This year’s movies will take place outside in the sculpture garden at the Columbus Museum of Art (480 E. Broad St).  Admission is free. So, grab a blanket and bring the family downtown. The movies will begin at dusk (approximately 9 PM).

The series is hosted by the Discovery District Civic Association and Discovery Special Improvement District with support from the Columbus Museum of Art.

Free parking is available in the museum's adjacent parking lot on Gay Street and Washington Avenue.

Before the movie, enjoy dinner at Matt & Tony's, Domino’s Pizza, or Pierogi Mountain. You can also stop by Hill’s Market Downtown to pick up snacks and refreshments.
