Business Member Spotlight: Tri Village Downtown Self-Storage

Tri Village Self StorageWhile there is a lot of great competition in Central Ohio for storage facilities, Tri Village Self-Storage has set itself apart by developing facilities in a few underserved locations. The newest location is downtown Columbus.

“There seem to be a lot of empty nesters that have downsized and the condominiums and apartments are very sparse on the storage areas,” said Tim Galvin, president of Brexton, LLC and Tri Village Self-Storage. “It’s also very difficult to maintain any kind of wine cellar in an urban environment, because space is so precious.

“People that live in the downtown are demanding state of the art facilities that are smart phone driven, clean, safe and secure,” Galvin said. “Brexton decided to use its development expertise to create a self-storage facility on that site with a little higher end finish, security and technology.”

The new six-story facility offers 300 units of varying sizes with another 400-plus units to come online later this year. There is temperature-controlled wine storage area that includes a back-up generator to assure the wine will remain at 55 degrees. Tri Village Wine Club Members that rent wine storage lockers will have access to an attractive wine tasting conference room.

“Being an active business member of the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District and keeping our other partners in the communication loop are key aspects of a successful downtown location, which is why we feel so strongly in the importance of supporting the SID as a member,” Galvin shared.
