Have a Ball FUN-Raising

Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District challenges you to a game of Duckpin Bowling on Thursday, March 16 for a good cause.

Property owners in Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District (SID) support two Homeless Outreach Specialists Bill Cobun and Keith Severs.  Last year the two specialists moved more than 80 individuals experiencing homelessness off the streets of downtown Columbus.

Compassionate people always want to help. Duckpin Bowling at PINS Mechanical now offers a fun way to make that happen.

Many times it’s a small investment that helps a person get back on his or her feet: buying a bus pass back home to their family, obtaining a copy of their birth certificate or applying for a state identification card. The SID offers these resources to anyone who needs help, and now you can directly support these initiatives.

Gather a team of four and register here. Your $100 entry fee gets you and your team a game of duckpin bowling and pizza from Mikey’s Late Night Slice. Or, just show up to support the cause and enjoy the pizza and fun for $25. Join us at Pins Mechanical located at 141 North Fourth Street at the corner of Long and Fourth Streets. Playing times start at 4 p.m. and occur every 30 minutes.

There will be prizes for Best and Worst teams. 100 percent of the proceeds will support the Capital Crossroads SID Homeless Outreach Program.
