Summer Fun Is Coming

Are you looking for ways to rejoin the social scene? Here are some fun events, many recurring, to keep your summer days full.

  • Picnic with the Pops makes a triumphant return to the Columbus Bicentennial Pavilion at Columbus Commons on June 12 and will run through July 31. Little ones will enjoy Popcorn Pops on June 18 and July 16. Full details, including the full line-up, will be announced soon.
  • Fitness classes, sponsored by UnitedHealthcare, are returning to Columbus Commons on June 2. These popular, no-cost classes will be held on Wednesdays, with Hip Hop at 5:15 p.m. and Yoga at 6:30 p.m. You are encouraged to register in advance, so they can assess attendance. The classes will be on the North Lawn with plenty of room to spread out. To attend, you must fill out a waiver.
  • As you are looking for ways to re-enter the social scene, the Columbus Museum of Art offers BAM Thursdays. Stop by to enjoy amazing art, music, and fresh libations. The event runs from 5-9 p.m. And, on the first Thursday of the month, enjoy a featured live artist from 6-8 p.m. Held in the garden space, have fun outside or at limited seating in Schokko Cafe. Tables are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Masks are required when you are not eating or drinking.
  • The next Moonlight Market takes place on June 12 from 6-11 p.m., while the next Sunlight Market happens on June 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Both take place on Gay Street, offering food, fun, and entertainment from pop-up vendors, brick and mortar businesses, and entertainers.
